Now I really want an iPhone

So you have been hearing the rumors yesterday and reading the news today. Fring has launched the first iphone application that allows to make Skype and VoIP calls right from your iphone. It also integrates chat messengers and your twitter stream.

The real truth is, I’m a blackberry addict and have been resisting temptation until now. This may very well change since one of the main reason keeping me was that I could not use skype chat. And IM+ for skype was sufficient for my needs. Moreover I use voicemailtel as a virtual PBX to handle personal calls and business extensions. The drawback was that I frequently run high bills when calls, passing through the PBX, are redirected to mobile phones (especially when redirected to Europe). Having a virtual extension ringing on the iPhone is a dream come true.

Now, I was able to wait for that long, I guess I can wait a bit longer for the 3G version.
